Power Apps - Capturing OAUTH Token of user during app onstart event

Hi All,

I'm working on power app (canvas) and can anyone point me in direction to achieve capability -

'Required to pass the OAUTH token to REST APIs during App & API interaction for Data processing'

1. I've a app registered in Enterprise applications (in Azure AD)  which has app id, tenant id and set of users mapped to it.

2. During power app onstart event, required to capture the token for the user who launched the app (user() method provides the email, fullname, image but it'll not help here). To get this, is there any standard features in power app module.

3. Once the Token captured then that can be used to interact with REST APIs are hosted  in containers (not Azure web apis).

And also, please suggest - is there any other approach to achieve the capabillity mentioned above.

Thanks,

NM

    Hi @NareshM ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to capture the OAUTH Token for the user who launches the app within the OnStart Event?

If you want to capture the OAUTH Token for the user who launches the app within the OnStart Event, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

Currently, within PowerApps, there is no function supported to achieve your needs in PowerApps.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,
