Get Top10 largest files

Hi,

I need to get the Top10 (or Top50 or or or...) largest files on a SharePoint / library. I'm able to fetch a file list but can't sort/filter by file size.

Any useful tips? 🙂

Hi, I know that but my problem is that the GetItem action has no file size information. My only solution is to loop through each item and retrieve the information with the GetMetadata. But with large libraries this is a pain...

Dear F,
That could be a pain, but not really, it's not you that is doing the job. You could get the metadata, dump that in an array and sort the stuff accordingly.
Another thought that comes to mind is to try and get the details via HTTP request (instead of the GetItems) ... I have only started to play with this myself ... not sure if it automatically pulls the size. Maybe check it out?
