I have a new error today with my app.  I connect to a Sharepoint List as a data source.  I get the following error.  "An item with the same key has already been added"  When I try to reconnect to the data source in the PowerApps desktop I get the following error.

1 error(s) occurred. Reporting the first one: {"status":400,"message":"An item with the same key has already been added.","source":"https://~mysite~.sharepoint.com/apps/ittimetracking/_api/SP.APIHubConnector.GetTableMetadata(listName='cf2285d3-b5cb-49c7-9fed-2e591ad4aad4')","errors":["-2147024809","System.ArgumentException"]}

I can connect to other lists and other apps are working.  Any suggestions?

    To debug the issue, I created a template in SharePoint from my list and created a duplicate list with the data.  I could not connect to the new list either.  I deleted all the content and then custom column by column.  The problem is with a date column on the list.  It is a basic date only field that defaults to today's date and has no validation on it in Sharepoint, is not required and does not require a unique record.  I created a new date field and copied the data over.  I can now connect to the duplicate list from from the powerApp.  Why would an error like this occur with a date column?

    Hi Rdelmore,

    According to your description, I create a list and configure a Date and Time column likes below.

    Then I create an app based on this list, seems that there is no error when creating the app.

    Have you changed the content type for the list? If possible, please show me more information to reproduce this issue.

    Best regards,

    1.  App has worked fine for 4+ weeks with no changes to it.  Last Thursday or Friday it stopped working.

    2.  Creating a date column with identical setup, copying data to it, and deleting the original column allows PowerApps to connect to the list.

    3.  The only way I can reproduce it is by saving the list as a template and creating a new list based on on it.

    Any suggestions?

    This morning my PowerApp is working again with no changes to it.  So whatever happened last week on the back end seems to be resolved now.  Hopefully it won't happen again.
