Flow that will search for the correct list and create new item

We track our employees adherence to schedule every week. In order to manage their performance, we have a list for each employee that we would like to update each week with that percentage.

I have that data in Excel by default, but my VBA knowledge sucks, so I figured if I put it in a SP List, that would be easier. If I have the list name in a column with that percentage, how do I get a flow to find the correct list and create a new item for each employee?

I'm guessing this is impossible because you cannot tell it what to update. I can't think of another way to do this.

    Hello @Anonymous

What is the name of the list for each of the employees? Their fullname? Their lastname? For example, if you have an employee called "Michael Jordan", which would be the name of the list where you want the items to be created?

In this example, an item is created on a list which its name is the "Nickname" user's property .

    Hi Ferran,

Unfortunately, our employees are not in the organization directory. I am trying to match up this column with the list name that is identical:

    Hello @Anonymous

Then, you could do something like this:

    Employee.png

Where EmployeeCode should be "254956_Adherence", for example

    Hope it helps!

Yeah, that is what I was trying to do but I get that same runtime error when I build the flow and it won't know what to create in the new item if it can't be defined, right?

    Hello @Anonymous

You are absolutely right! In this case you should use the "Send an HTTP Request to SharePoint" action.

Have a look at this post: https://www.dmcinfo.com/latest-thinking/blog/id/9832/creating-sharepoint-list-items-in-microsoft-flow-using-a-rest-api

You should do something like this: http.png

In this way you can create an item in a SharePoint list dynamically.

Any idea what the "type" would be?

I'm reviewing the steps to POST in this link and I'm stuck on the metadata type. I keep getting an error that the flow is unable to resolve the type.
