Hi All,

I wanted to know what is the best way to trigger Power Automate from 3rd party applications, for e.g. there is a automation tool workato, now if I want to trigger my PA flows using this application what should be the best possible way?

Can someone help me on this?

The generic way to trigger a Power Automate flow is to use the "When an HTTP request is received " trigger on the flow.  You can then Post to a URL and trigger the flow.  You can also pass parameters in the JSON body of the Post. Take a look at this article explaining how to use the trigger.

Hi @Pstork1 Thanks a lot for your quick response but I have seen many organization block these http actions due to security reasons, then in that case what should be the alternative?

Also I think you missed attaching the link

    Thanks

If there is no connector built by the third party company then your only real choice is to build a custom connector (which would use an http call) or use the when an http request is received.  There is no other way that I am aware of.
