Hi there.
I would like to know if somebody else is experiencing the same issue after the May 16th powerapps update. My menu component suddently stop working. It is reporting menuwidth error, but there is no error.
The fix has been deployed to all regions. The version 3.22055.13 is doesn't have the problem anymore. Subsequent versions (3.22061.xx and newest) also don't have the problem.
Thanks for reporting it. We are aware of this issue. I replied in a different thread (Solved: Re: Huge issue with Powerapps 3.22052.16 (componen... - Page 5 - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)) - the issue is that the fix for this issue "skipped" one version (3.22055), but is available on the next one (3.22061). We're working to fix the 3.22055 version (it should be done today). If you want to unblock yourself right now, you can go to the Settings menu -> Support -> Authoring version -> Edit, and selecting the new version (screenshots in the linked post). I'll reply to this thread (and the other one) once the fix is deployed to all regions.
Yes! I noticed yesterday 😞
I opened a ticket at Microsotf Support again.
the error is back
The fix for this issue has been deployed to all regions. If you open the app for editing again it should pick up the latest version that doesn't have the problem anymore.
I have the same problem.
Hi everyone, the Product Group team is now aware of this issue, they have narrowed down the change causing this problem and will implement a quick fix soon. Thanks for everyone's patience.
Unfortunately, I also noticed this limitation. For me, however, it was primarily important to be able to further develop my PowerApps. I like working a lot with components, so there were a lot of errors in the apps after the Microsoft update.
I hope Microsoft fixes this quickly. So long you will probably have to change the version every time you start the session.
Greetings Aaron
Hi Aaron,
I tried to do it as well, but for me works only to the current session. When I reopen the app and start a new session the newest version comes back automatically. 😢
I found a temporary solution that allows to use the components as usual. To do this, you change the release version of PowerApps Studio in the app itself. I selected the version that was released right before the problem started.
Solved: Can I restore Previous Power Apps Studio version? - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
That should be enough as an interim solution until Microsoft fixes the bug.
