Account name not reflecting when running flow for salesforce

Dear PA Community,

 

I am trying to build an email notification whenever a new case is opened in Salesforce an email containing few details is sent to few employees.

 

Initially i tried all options of accounts name built in in flow but none of them could get me Account name.

After few googling i got to know that i need to use Get Record function and use Account there which i tried but it is sending almost 50 emails in test keeping same case number with different account for which i understood that it is applying on each account number.

 

My Simple requirement is that it should select exact account number and send an email to user.

 

Any help will be highly appreciate.

    Hi there, 


    It would help to see your flow up to this point. Can you post screenshots? If it is sending almost 50 emails, it sounds like you've got a loop, so it's probably not set to the right version of the value, or, isn't filtered down to the single ID.

    Alright, so right now you are telling Power Automate, "give me EVERY ACCOUNT in Salesforce where the Case Re... is equal to "Technical Support Request". 

    You'll have to forgive me, since I don't have access to Salesforce, I can only make comments - I can't show. 

    What dynamic content do you have in your trigger, "When an object is created"? I can see it's filtered to the type, "Cases". Are there many accounts associated to a case, or only one? 

    If one, and  you are trying to retrieve that account, you are on the right path - Get Records, of type Account - but you need a filter query. From what you posted before, you have Account ID. Could you use "Account ID eq 'Account ID'" (where the second part is the dynamic content)?

    I am sharing input and output of my flow, Original problem can be see here.

     

    For single case referencing to one account but with above flow i am getting single case referencing to almost 100 accounts....

     

    For one case all i am receiving 100 emails mentioning different accounts in each email.

     

    Not sure why flow cant identify the exact account and highlight in email.
