Set a flow to run specific days of specific months

Hi All,

I have a flow that needs to run according to our accounts end of month schedule, I have all the dates for the year, Ive seen some posts on getting a flow to run on specific days of the month and then repeat, but how do I choose a specific day of each month and run time.

Each time it runs it would be a different day of the month (yer, accounting end of month people have a mind of their own).

Thanks for your help, I really do appreciate it.

    Hi @Weggs ,

If you have the dates saved in a SharePoint list or Excel table, you could get all the records from the data source EVERYDAY, filter the table and check if a date matches Today. If true, perform the following actions, else do nothing.

Another method is a workaround, based on your scenario. If the dates of each month are all in the second half of months, you can schedule the flow to run monthly on 14th of each month, get the date of current month and then delay until that date.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I ended up doing something very similar, we had the dates needed in a power BI data set, so each Tuesday (as we needed it to run on the first Tuesday after month end) it runs, looks at the date in the data set, compares that to todays date and if they match then using a condition it will run the flow, else it ends the flow.

    Thanks
