Moving tasks in buckets dependent on due date

I have been working on this for what seems like forever, and have changed our workflows to try and make it work better using Planner. We have a lot of recurring monthly tasks, they are not always completed each month because we are waiting on information from clients, and that is where I am getting stuck.

  • Buckets:
    • Month: Ex. November 2023
    • Uploads Complete
    • New Bucket with is created using a flow for the next month.
  • Tasks and sub tasks.
    • Task due date will be due on the 10th of each month, however, it is for the prior month.
      • Ex. Task is due 12/10, in the November 2023 Bucket.

What I am needing is when someone uploads all of the documents they will move it to Uploads Complete, or they can leave it in the bucket but change the label to signify they have uploaded everything, which ever is easier. No due dates or anything will be changed.

Once we receive the documents and review, we will mark it as completed. I am using the recurring tasks in planner so it will duplicate everything including the task list. That new task created will need to move to the next bucket dependent on the due date.

Ex: Check off a task in December, but it is in the October bucket with a due date of 11/10, the new task will be created with a due date of 12/10 and needs to move to the Nov. Bucket and so forth. Some tasks are completed in the same month but not all.

I even tried to update the task so have the month name in it, so it didn't have to move between buckets, or even change the labels which signify months but I haven't been successful.

I hope this makes sense and any help is appreciated.
