I'm trying to create a Microsoft form that employees can fill in to request for travel order number in the company. I want to automate the process so that every time an employee fills in the form the travel order number will be generated and will be e-mailed to their respective email. Actually I'm trying to figure out how to set the travel order number generated to have this format: 2024-I02-xxx (for example: 2024-I02-001, 2024-I02-002, 2024-I02-003, 2024-I02-004 and so on. Also, want that all generated travel order numbers will be automatically recorded and saved in an online excel file together with the input data of the employee in the Microsoft forms for monitoring. The information to be filled up by employees in the form are the following: travel start date, travel end date, destination, and purpose of travel however the manager wants these details to appear in the excel monitoring file: EE ID, Name of Employee, Travel Start Date, Travel End Date, Destination, and Purpose of Travel.
I'm currently seeking chat gpts help but it keeps on repeating its suggested correction which doesn't work. Now i dont know what to do.
