Microsoft Flow: Approvals timeout

I am seeing an issue with approval step timeout. The approval in the dashboard still is active even after the approval step has timed out.,

When manager clicks approve or reject after the timeout, it shows a “succcessfully registered” message and does not give an error as written in the MS Documentation.

Is this a bug? Have you come across this situatuion?

I am using create an approval V2 and wait for approval V2 actions in my flow.

Currently, the latest version of the Approval action should be Start and wait for an approval, please take a try.

I tried with "start and wait for approval" action but the issue remains.
