Folder creation or upload gets stuck in file copying flow

Hi,

I've got a library where users can upload documents which then are moved by a create item, delete item flow.

Problem is that Sharepoint now allows for users to upload folders with content. They just get stuck.

Same goes for filenames with forbidden characters. They just stop the flow altogether.

Is there a way to check for folder uploads. I can live with sending the admin mail to check on the upload folder.

    Hi @Admin,

You could post this idea in the Flow Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.

Thanks for your go at it.

It would help because someone would check everytime. But that is the problem at the same time. This is designed to go automatically. The end user just checks on the destination lib. So it doesn't work in this situation.

Flow now sends an email to me with the filename and an Outlook rule checks of forbidden characters. But that's not a solution.

Yesterday I found an IsFolder parameter, but that was for a file created in the destination lib.

    regards,

    Niels

    Hi @Admin,

You can help to approve/reject the files that has been upload to the library in email, and then add the corresponding actions according to your decision. The flow could be something like this:

Let me know if this works for you.

    Regards,

    Mona
