Teams Connector: Post message in a chat or channel

This teams connector no longer functions well and needs to be fixed.
This connector only allows plain text to be sent, no mark down, no HTML, and it doesn't allow dynamic content to be used for links. That makes this nearly unusable unless you're trying to send a static message every day. This is not really acceptable, and also doesn't make sense for an update. Prior versions of this same connector had these features, on top of that teams as an app still supports these things. So why is it updated to no longer support markdown or html when you can do that in teams? The new update to the automate platform is great, but idk why some of these connectors get two steps back every time there's an update.

As you can see in the image we no longer can submit HTML directly and that markdown there should create a link but instead it sends as plain text. I had copilot turn on the advanced parameters for markdown and it's blocked by the platform and will not allow me to save with markdown parameters set to true.

As you can see in the image above dynamic content is not allowed when creating a link using the link feature.
I've also tried using rich text formatter in powerapps to send HTML in advance that has the dynamic link but links become unclickable.

Microsoft doesn't read this forum, except for a few support people, once in a while. You probably want to submit your feedback via the Power Automate portal.

For your issue: you can revert to Classic. In edit mode, go to the ellipses in the top right hand corner, Switch to Classic Designer. Mark down is available there.

Thank you! I appreciate the suggestion to revert to Classic, I didn't know it was an option. I will post this feedback to through the power automate portal as well! Much appreciated. I will mark your response as the solution.

I am trying to include a "Subject" for the teams channel message. If I switch to "classic" will this work?
Note: I was getting that "Invalid connection, please update your connection" message so I DID switch back to classic. But it seems to switch you back to the new editor after you save.

I'm trying to @mention the channel I'm posting into. Has anyone successfully done this? I have heard I can do <at>channel name</at> but that ended up causing an error. For channels unfortunately @everyone does not seem to work either.

404', Code: 'Request_ResourceNotFound', Message: 'Resource 'Everyone' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present.

Great forum it seems ; really appreciate the help.

Looks like you pull the @mention user in by creating an action to do so and then later pull it into the message as a parameter. You can also create an @mention tag for the group; only problem is it doesn't seem to cause those in the group to be notified when the message is created.  So to get notification, you have to pull in everyone individually from the group which negates the purpose of having groups.
