Hello All-

I have a flow where I need to find 30 business day prior to utcNOw() excluding weekends. So if today is 11-03-2023 find a date 30 days prior to 11-03-2023 excluding weekends.

Can you please guide me on how would I go about achieving this ?

Thank you very much in advance.

You will need to specify where you are, what counts as weekend where you are (there's a sizable portion of the world where the weekend is not sat/sun), and you will also want to include/exclude holidays from your calculation.

Ideally you have a calendar table that has these details already prefilled.

Or you could just subtract 42 from utcnow and be done with it.

@lbendlin thanks for the response, I am based off of USA so what I was looking to do is if user select todays date calculate 30 business day prior to today. I just don't want to count weekends ( Saturday and Sunday), holidays are fine.

    Thank you.

Did you consider the suggestion to subtract 42?

@lbendlin I will try that so does that mean if we  subtract 14 for  10 business days,  subtract 28 for 20 business days, and 42 for 30 business days ? Will this output the valid dates ?

    Thank you.
