Save email and attachment to sharepoint prompt for metadata

The title was it all; Save email and/or attachments to sharepoint and prompt for metadata. This doesnt look to be possible based on cursory review. There seems to be plenty of flows doing things that seem like maybe 5 people may need but this functionality, IMHO, is not trivial.

So anyone know if this is doable yet? Afterall it's only (just about) 2018, one would and should think and expect so by now.

Thanks in advance and please do not include links to "workarounds". I don't do workarounds. Why is it everytime I want to accomplish something with this techology it requires a hack or workaround or what you want 'almost' works provided its on a Tuesday with a full moon??? In this day and age, if this type of seemingly standard requirement is not available I won't use it. I've got better things to do then use it and get constantly frustrated at the lack of completeness of the technology whilst there's plenty of other, in my opinion, rediculous offerings within the technology. Time and effort that could've and should've been spent completing the technology. Aferall, isn't all this technology supposed t be "integrated"? Oh sorry I forgot, it is provided kts a Tuesday with a full moon.

    Hi @CW,

I am afraid that your scenario currently could not be achieved directly, please submit a request at Flow Ideas Forum:

I will help collect and report it on my side.

Thanks for the follow-up. In answer to your question (which was an email I tried to respond to but it was a no-reply account. Why do you people send people emails asking questions from a no-reply account?????????????), no it didn’t solve the issue, not in the least.

I didn’t even receive notification that there was a response on Monday even though its setup to advise me when there is. It used to and no its not in junk.

Between this, PowerApps, O365 and all the frustration it causes it may be high time to just cancel the subscription and get on with life. This is nuts. Nothing ever works he way you want it, things aren’t available that should, if it's not you're prompted to and it to the suggestion box.

Documentation is wrought with ‘over writing’ and never answering the question or providing simple explanations and most importantly good examples of real life scenarios. Not only that, but its taking me way longer to write this response because im using a crappy surface pro 4!

Figured there'd be no response from Microsoft on this yet.

I was prompted for metadata when saving attachments to sharepoint using a good 3rd party tool 10 years ago and you guys havent figured that out yet?

Maybe too much time spent on setting up connectors to Wunderlust and other rediculous things instrad of working on your claim about how integrated O365 is. You said that back with Office XP, it wasnt then and it's still far from integrated.

If you can just come oput and say once and for all "we're not planning real integration with our products so that 3rd party tools can do that for us and so you have to spend more money on other subscriptions" then I wont have to waste my time trying to research something that should be avaialble 1st release.

When you guys are ready to put on your "big boy pants" give me a call.
