Deep Link to Flow Native App

Dear users,

I've written a PowerApp that helps us monitor changes to our databases and infrastructure for auditing.  Currently I'm using Flow for the Approval portion of the process and am linking our managers to the web version of Flow to do these approvals (they also get emails, but some aren't using them... another issue).

I would have hoped there was a way to embed Flow approvals inside a powerapp but am so far not having much luck.  As I've said I'm redirecting managers to the web version of Flow but really would prefer it open in their native app (if the user is using a mobile phone or tablet).

Recommendations on how to deep link this operation?

    Hi @Anonymous,

I guess that you could suggest managers download Flow Mobile app on their phones, then sign in using their flow accounts info.

Then once an approval request is sent to them, they could check and give a response to the request on their mobile phone.

Here is a blog on flow mobile app:

    Best regards,

    Mabel

That is currently the method we're using for approvals however I'd prefer a way for a user, who is already in my PowerApp, to be able to be redirected to the flow app through the click of a button.  Is this not a possibility?

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Thanks for updating.

There is no button on PowerApps could be used to redirect approver to the flow app.

There is a similar request on Flow Ideas Forum, please vote the idea at here:

    Best regards,

Thanks for responding.  While that's unfortunate I've done as you recommended and upvoted that functionality.  Even just being able to redirect to the native app Flow would be acceptable but as is kind of relegates using one application to be tied to another.  Frustrating user experience.
