Colleagues To Be Able Enter Comments On My Dashboard

Hi

Recently joined this community and this is my first post wherein no idea if I had put my questions in the right forum

I created this dashboard and I want several colleagues to enter missing data like Invoice Due Date and Client Names. These data will be supplied by several people.

Here are my questions.

1. How can they enter their comments because most of them are using the trial version of the power bi? I'm sharing my powerbi via sharepoint and not via publish

2. What do I need to do for them to be able to enter their comments?

3. Will their comments remained in power bi even if I do the refreshed often since majority of the data will be extracted from sql?

    Hi

I would create a simple Canvas App, that displays the Data and Let's them update it there, which would be linked to the Power BI DataSet.

You mention you are sharing via SharePoint, not quite sure I understand that. Your data is in SQL, how are you getting the data into Power BI from SQL?

since they have trial they are limited in what they can do. I would need to know what type of Subscription you have.

But at the end of the day, it appears you are asking them to be able to Update data that is not sourced in Power BI, but instead coming from SQL. so if they updated it in (let's pretend they can) Power BI, it will NOT be written back to SQL so every time you update or refresh it will be gone.

    Update the Source.
