Flow runs successfully - but I get a retries occurred error when on my email notification...

Hey everyone,

So I built a flow last week that worked correctly when I ran it. This week, I ran it again (W/O) changing anything and am suddenly getting a retry error in the sending email notification portion of my flow (Sending out 6 emails) . Status says 429.

I only get this error on one of my loops to send out an email -- but the email isn't being sent on any of the 6 loops because of the one retry error. Just confused because this was working perfectly last week... and I haven't changed anything?

Thanks in advance! Pic below

    Hello @Anonymous ,

the action 'Send an email notification' has a limitation on 100 emails per 24 hours, maybe you already reached that number. It's better to use the Office 365 Outlook connection 'Send an email' that doesn't have such limitation.

I have solved my own problem. I send with "Send V2" 1000 emails to different users with a for each loop ... to speed up the flow I have included the parallity function, unfortunately this has caused the interface to block and the items are resent only after waiting 5 minutes. So the flow took very long every 5 minutes 5 emails, with 1:1 the hint of the original question. Now I have disabled the prallelism and the flow takes less than 1 minute and without the hint.

Hi @tom_riha. Sorry to hi-jack this discussion but I found my issue similar to this one. I noticed this behavior in my flow where I send email reminders to 15 users from a list. Every after the 5th receiver, I get a time out and retry (i.e. for the first 5 receivers, the email reminder will be sent in <2 secs, then the 6th receiver will time out after 5 mins, retried, and successfully sent in <2 secs). The flow works fine but instead of it successfully running in just a few seconds, it will take it ~10 mins (2 time outs with 5 min each and 2 retries) to run the flow and send emails to all 15 users.

Hi @Anonymous does maybe my hint solve your problem?

It is one possible solution but by doing so, the user must be an active user in the organization. If for example, the user leaves the organization, then I'm not sure if "Send V2" will still work even if the flow is shared. That's why I have t to stick with sending email reminders so that the sender is microsoft@powerapps.com instead of the user who created the flow.
