JSON Card reads data as string value

Hi all,

I have an approval flow for my work which eventually will ask the employee to fill in a number in a JSON card that was sent via Teams. however, the value does not get recognized by the card when there is an action after the action 'post adaptive card and wait for a response'.

It basically says that the value that has been filled in, is a string value and should be a number. I have googled a lot, checked forms on here and tried the solutions, such as compose, but to no avail.

My JSON card is created via adaptivecards.io and uses version 1.3 for teams.

Can anyone help me to make sure the data from my card gets recorded as a number?

Can you please open the designer view of the "Post adaptive card" action and post a screenshot of it?

The error reads as you put in the number as a String instead of a number.

See picture below. I have cut off the text from the image as it is way too long and not worth posting.

Can you please show the actual input in the flow designer, not from the flow run?

    Ah yes, apologies. See below:

Update item 3 is my final step, do until is being done until a certain date has been reached before sending the adaptive card.

We would need to see the input parameters of the Teams action

This is the test data filled in:

The action is submit and the flow recognizes it, but gives eventually the same issue as posted on the first post. I have tried creating the same flow again from scratch but that also does not fix the issue.

Just wanted to inform everyone that the issue is solved. I was using input.number and changed it to input.text. Then I changed my list to single line of text and then the issue was resolved.
