I did a quick check over existing templates, and did not find a viable one that does the following:
1. Step through a list of installers in exe format
2. For each installer, get the thing installed.
Please advise if Power Automate can be helpful for this type of task. Thanks!
Power Automate is useless in your situation. Search for PowerShell tools.
The single reason is to avoid manually installing a bunch of programs when I have a fresh Windows 10 OS.
The trigger: I upgraded my computer with my own boot drive, memory and GPU, and the manufacturer refused to provided support for none OEM hardware and software. I am left troubleshooting and reinstalling Windows for an unfair number of times over the past two months. Yet, I still get a Windows OS that freezes up for 10 seconds sporadically.
I do not write my own programs and do not want to make standalone installers. Instead, I would like to automate the process of installing a long list of programs so that I don't have to do it manually.
If it is unclear in the original post, here is the simple question again: can Power Automate help install a bunch of installers? If not, what may help me in that regard? [I tried to create images of the boot drive, which does not work 100% of the times. Very recently, I was grated with a Windows OS without File Explorer, start menu nor taskbar, should I try to restore from the existing images.]
You can create an installation package (exe or msi) using a tool like InnoSetup or similar.
Why do you want to use the Power Automate?
