Formatting for 'Post message in a chat or channel'

Hello!

I was planning on using an adaptive card to post messages in Teams but have decided against it as I am unable to get the users profile picture due to permissions on our tenant.

Therefore, I am now looking at using the 'Post message in a chat or channel' action as it displays the username and image on the user which meets my requirements. However, I am having an issue with the formatting as it seems to remove all breaks from SharePoint which wasn't an issue I have with the Adaptive Card - see below screenshots of SharePoint formatting vs how the message appears in Teams in a Message and Adaptive Card.

Is anyone able to confirm if it is possible to correct the formatting to include line breaks in the 'Post a message in a chat or channel'?

    Hi @Anonymous

As far as I am aware the Post message in a chat or channel action should support HTML and <br/> tag.

Below is an example on my demo tenant which worked.

    Hi @Anonymous,

First press the code view icon before you add the html to the message field.

@Anonymous, as far as I know that specific action doesn't support html for the message field.
