text to excel with Compose: Run trough file per 5 items: sometimes one item consists of two lines

Hi,

I have text as an ouput from a 'HTMLtoText' conversion (input for that is an e-mail body) . I'm having trouble to create Compose actions that run trough this output and create a row in excel.  So each 5 items in the .txt output need to be one row in excel.

Sometimes the third item consists of 2 lines as shown in 2nd screenshot.

Maybe there is a better approach to solve this?

    Hi @v-litu-msft

So instead of compose actions I used Initialise Variable action. The result is the same textfile as in screenshot in OP.

From there I'm still struggeling to run trough this file and get the data in a table in excel.

Any hint will be much appreciated.

Variable instead of composeVariable instead of compose

    Hi @v-litu-msft,

    Thanks for your reply.

I convert the body of an e-mail to text. Then I clean out some data with a few Compose actions. (I can combine those, but I can do that later.) The screenshot of the textfile in the initial post is the ouput from the last Compose actions.

From there I don't really have an idea how to continue.

    Hi @driekes,

Could you please share a screenshot of your Flow configuration?

It's recommended that using initialize a variable action instead of Compose action if you are using Apply to each action, cause the output of Compose action would be an array.
