Approval form action - formatting and need expression

Hi All,

I completed a massive SWITCH flow that is a success. FINALLY! Now I am trying to pretty up the formatting as well as needing an expression or something to make this work for the Customized Approval form action.

1) Is there formatting available for this like how it is for Outlook? Ignore the highlighted for the formatting as that's for the next question...I want to use BOLD for the info like Error Type, Clinic, Patient Name, etc columns. Even use red font for the Error Type.

The outcome:

2) ok, the items have several Error Types columns. And it varies. I only need to put one error type that has the '1' in the value in the approval form instead of listing every single error type columns. (See below for the ones that have either 0/1 in the values of several of the Error Types fields.  HOW DO I DO THIS???

Thank YOU!!!!

    Hi @Holly_CMS ,

For #1: I have two links for you that summarize and give you the solution to make you labels bold.

This explains the "how" (and looks pretty easy):

Use Markdown language to format Power Automate approvals - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn

This explains the "why" (as in why you can't use html):

Solved: Insert HTML in Approval Action - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

For #2: still thinking about the easiest way to do this.

If the option for #1 works, please mark as a solution and open a new post for #2.

    Thank you Trice602.

Funny, for #1 - I was looking at that earlier before I posted this. I didn't feel that the explanation in documents was enough for me to understand. So this evening, I found a Markdown convert from Word Doc....https://word2md.com/

That really helps explain more. The thing that annoys me is that the Markdown doesn't give me the option to color up some fonts 😕

Thank you and I will break the #2 from this post to a new one.

Yeah, it Markdown needs improvement.  I will keep looking for options for the 2nd one and look for the post.

Regarding Markdown needing improvement - Yes, it does!!

    And here's the link for #2 >>> https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Need-expression-for-this-complex-request/m-p/2310751#M256981

    Thanks a bunch 🙂
