Excel Worksheet has power query not working.

Hi Everyone,

 

I have an Excel file with power query to get and convert data form other source.

So normally, When I open the file, it would take me sometime to finish the query.

But when I open the file with power automate using Launch Excel, the query didn't start or run.

Even when I used Wait 10s.

 

So, is it an error or the excel file cannot run query when I use Launch Excel in Power Automate?

    Hello @MaiPhuocHoang ,

    As of my knowledge Excel file can't run query when you open it through Launch Excel Action.

    You may try using VBA : ActiveWorkbook.RefreshAll

    Write this code in workbook open Action, So that whenever you open the excel, the code will automatically run and it will refresh the Query even if you open the excel through Launch Excel Action.

    Don't forget to add wait action after that to finish the refresh.
