Hello all,

I have a power app that is connected to a share point list. If I edit existing record and resubmit, how do I get it to submit a new form in the sharepoint instead of just updating the one that exists?

    Hi @Jettman2024 ,

Just write this formula onSuccess property of your form:

    ResetForm(YourFormName); NewForm(YourFormName)

    Form1 is my form name,

This approach ensures that each submission is treated as a new item in your SharePoint list, regardless of whether you start with editing an existing item or entering data from scratch.

If this is the answer for your question, please mark the post as Solved.
If this answer helps you in any way, please give it a like.

    Thanks!

@gcmfaizan Just tried it out. It still only updates the existing entry in the sharepoint list

@gcmfaizan My form is Form1 as well. Did the same formula for the onsuccess. Saved and published. Edited a record, and it just updates the existing record in the lists still unfortunately
