I have spent hours scouring the internet and YouTube trying to find a solution to my problem.
I am wanting to send out an automatic email 24 hours in advance of a calendar event in SharePoint for a specific client. I have several different clients throughout the month on a specific day that an event is supposed to happen. Each event is labeled with their client name. The events are on the calendar based off the time of the month, not a specific day. For example: "Second Tuesday of each month", or "4th Monday of each Month".
The day before the event, I want an email to be sent out to remind them of this event.
I don't want to send these out manually each month...I would like it automated.
I have a flow already created that can send out the email in the correct format with the logo and template manually, however I am needing it to be programmed so it will send out the email 24 hours in advance only for that one client.
I will copy the flow for each client (and modify each one) so that it makes it easier.
How can I accomplish this?
NOTE: I am fairly new to PowerAutomate.
@SSIT to send notification before 24 hours of recurring event, i think you will need to fetch the recurrence instance of event from the SharePoint list, however there is limitation that SharePoint REST API doesnt support fetching recurring instance from the list, so that cant be done in Power Automate.
Any ideas...anyone?
Yes...they are Anna.
@SSIT are these events created as recurring events in SharePoint Calendar?
