Cannot figure out how to use 'Save As' Dialog box in Desktop Chrome Automation

Hi,

I have a Desktop flow set up. It launches Chrome, logs me in to our database, launches a browser query window, performs a search, and then extracts data in a .xlsx file. However, I cannot get my Flow to recognize the Save As dialog box. I've tried UI and Desktop recording.

    Have you tried "Focus Window" by Title and used the Select Window feature to grab the window title?

    Regardless, it looks like it opens and the cursor is in the right field, so you may just use "SendKeys" and then {Enter} and that will get you through, without the bot ever actually needing to know that the window exists.

    Good luck.

    Thank you - I did add that, and it worked. But my subsequent steps are not, still. I need to make sure that it saves to the right place. I can't get that to work and I can't get the 'Save' button to process.

    No need....that is a generic Windows Save As Window, you can type the %filepath% directly into that Filename bar and press Enter to take you to the right folder.

    So once the window opens and you have wait for window and focus window, do this:
    Send Keys %filepath%{Return}

    Wait (1) - just give it some time to navigate to the folder and reset the Filename bar

    Send Keys %filename%{Return}

    It will be saved and the window will close.

    Good luck!
