Power Automate condition based on Sharepoint Person column

Hi,

 

I want to create a reminder in power automate approval workflow that sends a reminder only to one selected approver. The list of approvers is on a SharePoint. When I select the criteria as below it always returns a false and does not send the reminder.

 

Approver Email address is equal to JohnDoe@xyz.com

or

Approver Displayed name is equal to John Doe

 

When I run the flow without it it works as expected.

 

Could you please advise how such criteria should be defined?

    Can you show a screenshot of the flow under the edit page?

    I think the condition is always false due to the case difference between Approver Email address and JohnDoe@xyz.com.

    I suggest you try:

    toLower(Approver Email address) is equal to toLower(JohnDoe@xyz.com)
