Timezone issue with bookings, outlook and teams

Hello,

I read several topics (there are many about similar issues) and found some hints but couldn't solve my issue. Maybe it's a logical fault I am making, regarding the time zone conversion.

What I do with my flow is triggering by a new created booking event, then getting the corresponding outlook calendar entry and from this create a teams meeting. In general, this works. Unfortunately the teems meeting is two hours prior to the calendar entry, while the calendar entry is correct.

I tried converting the times / time zones but this didn't change anything. Maybe I have to do the conversion the other way around. I am not really sure what happens in the background.

What am I doing wrong here?

    Hi @Porfavor ,

I don't understand. You are creating Teams meeting and time zone set to Central Euripean time which is UTC+2, so the meeting time is 2 hours prior to UTC, what's the matter?

    Best regards,

No, the teams meeting is 2 hours before the bookings and outlook meeting. Outlook and bookings is, correctly, 8 pm CET, but teams is 6 pm CET. (at least displayed as 6 in the calendar).

If this is not going to work and bookings is also not going to allow me to create a teams meeting only based on a specific user choice, is it worth a lot less to me.

I think, it is not that difficult but I am slow on the uptake.

    Hi @Porfavor ,

I mean, why not just use the UTC time zone to create meetings?

I think, this did not change anything. I just wanted to test it, setting up a new flow via copy but notw even the trigger doesn't work anymore! Weird.

I rechecked this. It doesn't make a difference whether I enter UTC or CET. Teams meetings is always two hours before the outlook/bookings event, in 12h-format.

I got it now. I had to use the Converted Time Zone value which did not appear to choose before as there must have been something wrong with the branches.

    Hi @Porfavor

Please consider posting a screenshot of your flow and accepting it as the solution, help other users understand it more clearly.

    Best regards,

Yes, sure, see the difference to the screenshot in my initial post:
