Custom response as a drop-down / Approvals and SharePoint

Hello. I´ve done a flow that sends an approval when a new item is created. In the responses, I have the ability to customize the answers, such as "Need more information¨. I need to put one of the responses, a drop-down option, which allows to select diferents choices, from other List, that have the data to run the flow. So you don´t have to up every option as a button to approve or reject. Is it possible to do that? Thank you for the help.

Hello. The question is the follow: I would like to customize mesage of the own service Approvals, without Microsoft Teams having to intervene. I don´t now if Adaptive Cards can integrate with Approvals but I think it is not possible.

    Yes, of course.

You could create your own adaptive card, specifying some JSON data values. Have a look at this excellent samples: Samples and Templates | Adaptive Cards

    Hope it helps!

Hello. Thank you. Could integrate a personalized adaptive card with the service Approvals?

    Hello @alopezppm

You could do something like this:

    approve1.png

    1) Create an approval.

    2) Send the "Teams Adaptive Card" content and post it to a user (Lisa).

    3) Wait for the approval result.

    4) If the outcome (response) is "Approve" then do whatever...

    Hope it helps!

Hello @fchopo. Thank you for the response. How can I get the responses from the adaptive cards using Teams? I have been looking at various sites but I have not found anything clear. Thanks again.

Hello. Thank you for your response! I have another question. In a SharePoint List I have the database, where the first column is, for example, the group name and the following columns are the components of the group, depending on the approval hierarchy level (Example: Group 1 consists of User1 at the first approval level and by User2 at the second level. This is a multi-level flow). I would like that when the user receives an approval that does not correspond to them, they can reassign with an choice button, where the groups in the SharePoint list appear and a new flow runs. Thank you for the help!

    Hello @alopezppm

You could use Adaptive Cards templating: Templating Overview - Adaptive Cards | Microsoft Docs

In this way, you could create the data file based on the SharePoint list items.

Have a look at this excellent article to understand how it can be done: Adaptive Cards Templating • Tomasz Poszytek, Business Applications MVP

    Hope it helps!
