Testing Power Automate Flow

Hi
 
I have a power automate flow in place that updates Salesforce based on MS form submisson.
 
I have been asked to upgrade the flow and add a step.

How can i test this and know its working as intended without sending records to salesforce that will fire other processes in there?
 
Is there a rollback mode where the flow works as inteneded but nothing gets updated ?

    There is versioning in Power Automate, but sometimes it happens that versioning doesn't show up. My best recommendation would be to duplicate your flow (just in case) so that you have a backup of the original flow.
     
    In terms of testing, it depends on what you want to test. If you want to test everything but the Salesforce action, you can enable the 'static result' setting in the action. This will basically skip the action by providing a static result. Sometimes an output is needed. Just check the outputs checkbox and you are ready to go.
