Regular automatic execution of a flow with the help of Windows 11 task scheduling

Hello,

I am new to the community and also to the use of Power Automate Desktop.
I have just created a simple desktop flow under Windows 11, where a program is started with a function and closed again when the work is done. This works quite well.
My question now relates to the possibility of having this flow run automatically at a certain time every day. If I have read correctly, this is not natively possible in the desktop version.
Therefore, I would like to realize the scheduled execution with the help of the Windows 11 task scheduler. Now I can start the Power Automate Desktop program, but how do I start the created flow directly?

I hope I can get some help for my request here.

Best regards, Curio

If you are using free version of power automate desktop, then you have to click run button each time manually.

In case if you want to schedule your flow then you have to buy power automate premium license which cost $15 per month per user.

When we have premium license then we can schedule your flow using cloud flow or task scheduler.

Ah, I see. I understand the idea. However, even if you intend to schedule Power Automate Desktop tasks from Task Scheduler, it would necessitate a premium license according to Microsoft documentation.

Thank you very much for your support. You are right, the solution I am looking for is only possible with the Premium version of PAD.
I have now found a much cheaper way to solve my little automation problem. I have solved the execution and termination of the desired application using a batch file. I then implemented the daily automatic execution of the batch file with the Windows 11 task scheduler.

    Many thanks again, Curio
