create multiple rows from one list item

Hi

I have a 2 sharepoint lists, 1 that captures worksplace inspection questions and actions (up to 50 questions and 50 possible actions)

I have a 2nd list that is called action list.

I have a flow that creates an item in the 2nd list which is great but it puts all the actions into 1 row.  I want to be able to have each individual actions to be on 1 row ( so 10 actions = 10 rows).

can you please advise how i can change my current workflow, is there are formula that i can use in the action required section?

    Hey @Jenine1_1  -

I would try something like appending the values to array variable and then placing your 'create item' action inside an apply to each. Use the array you've created an appended your values to in the Apply to each step's parameter:

And then you can use each item you've added to your array by selecting 'Current item' from the dynamic content pane:

I recommend reading about variables here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/create-variable-store-values

They allow you to store values into an array variable and then append further values to that array. You are creating 1 row in SharePoint with 10 columns that you want to turn into their own rows. By storing those 10 columns in an array, you are creating a list that the SharePoint 'Create Item' action can loop through 10 times and create a row for each value you've added to an array.
