Hello,
I followed the guide posted on https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/use-mention-collaborating-your-team-using-notes-jakub-homola-2gs8c/ but the @mentions thing is not popping up when I create a new note in a timeline.
Is there something else I can check?
Hi @Embloom-bart ,
Please take a look at this doc.

Hi, @v-xiaochen-msft
The environment was created with Dynamics365 apps, I got the D365 Sales app for example from the start, I later installed the Customer Service app
I got the same issue as well, I followed all the steps, and I got Dynamic 365 license set to Yes, is it because I'm in the developer environment?
Using D365 Sales, I also followed the same post as Embloom-bart but was able to get the @ mention user search to work in the note activity body. But NO notification record was created for the user mentioned so NO in-app notification for them in the notification center when the note was saved.
I'm sure there is no need to manually create the notification record using the note @ mention method, right?!
The @mention feature currently only works with v1 of the rich text editor. Try appending this to the app URL and seeing if it works:
&flags=FCB.ReplaceRTEv1WithRTEv2=false
If so, you can then disable the new rich text editor within the app settings.
