Line break in approvals

Hi,

I'm sorry if this is a bit of a repost, but I'm losing my mind over this

I'm creating an approval flow, and in the details of the approval i would like to get some line breaks

I understand that markdown is supported ( as it mentions itself in the box before input anything)

the problem is that I've tried all the solutions I've came to in this forum and others, and nothing works

I've tried adding two spaces, backlash, adding a compose step before and some more

At one moment I've thought that the problem could be the dynamic content ( what would take the porpuse of the details away), so I've tried with simple text as well and nothing

The fun  part (not really) is that bolding works well (adding ** before and after), but line break won't work no matter what and it's the same result regardless the service I use ( teams and flow itself)

Can someone please help me make sense of this?

Thank you

Had the same problem. It’s one of the apparently many issues with the new designer.

Same issue, and nothing made sense.  I switched from new designer and now line breaks are working with no special formatting.

    Hi @Jondoesflow,

Thank you for you answer, but that was what copilot did when i asked him, but that did not work as well

Whats puzzles me is that in the json preview, it makes a single literal string, so any caracter is interpreted as text

    Hey @Tdrp

Use <br/> at the end where you want a line break, see if that works.
