I am looking for recent documentation/help on a replacement for the 'When Record Selected' trigger. I built a flow today and used the trigger and see that the only environment option is the Default solution. Regardless, I do not have the option to run it (It is 'On'):
I've come across the idea posted to keep it around/provide replacement options but nothing there is recent. I also tried Export but when I go to Import, it gives a (not-so-helpful) message telling me previous versions aren't supported. All of this tells me creating new flows with that Trigger is BAD.
Please share workarounds that a novice can follow! This is NOT for Sharepoint. I need a way to capture records selected from a list of records in Dynamics 365 and use Powerautomate to generate an email with those selected records.
In my research, I found that this trigger is an exception to the recommended migration list. Implying that there will be a replacement coming. It goes on to say that an update will be shared this month. If anyone sees the update, please share on this post for others.
