Hi all,
I've been trying to create a flow that sends an email notification if a new ticket (helpdesk app) is created.
There are alot of similair examples online, but those won't show the formula to activate the flow (which I'm also struggling with).
In short; New sharepoint item created --> Email notfication to x email account.
I hope someone can help me out with this
Thanks,
I went back a previous version of the app, and I can now see the tickets apearing in Sharepoint again.
The notification flow however, does not work.. I don't know why..
Do I have to configure a line of formulas within the app to start the flow?
(For example; If you use a powerbutton flow it says 'Finish the line of parameters')
If the intent is to send an email when an item is created in a SharePoint list, you don't need the PowerApps trigger - just use the SharePoint When an item is created trigger per my example above.
Hi @ScottShearer,
I did run the flow, but it didn't seem to run in realtime..
The flow currently looks like this;
Please post screen shots of your Flow - that will be a big help to those trying to assist.
Also, did your Flow run?
Thanks for the reply @ScottShearer,
I copied the example from above and saved the flow.
For some reason it doesn't seemed to work. If I create a ticket no new ticket appears and there's also no email notification.
I might have done something wrong, so I deleted the flow, but there's still no new ticket appearing
Maybe go back to a previous version of the app?
