How to share the excel file from SharePoint?

Hi all,

In the end of my flow I need to share the updated excel file with the end-user. However:

  • When I tried attaching it to the email in the end of the flow-the file wasn't updated. and I'm not particularly interested in waiting and delaying the final email...in addition, not sure how much time of delay it would require, as many rows can be added in a single run...
  • Seems like we don't have SharePoint lists.
  • I've managed to insert a link to the file, though not sure how smart it'll be that the user would have access to the live file...
  • Tried copying the file with a dynamic name by "create file",though I get an error that the file is locked by the user.

I'd appreciate your help so I can complete this.

Thank you!

    Hi @IWantToKnow ,

Please see my blog post from January 2024 - I walk through the steps to send attachments from a Form but the steps are very similar.  Send Microsoft Form Attachments to an Email - End ... - Power Platform Community

Essentially you need to get file content, and then use the dynamic content for name and file content as your attachment in send email V2.

So in your example, you don't need the append to array variable, shown below, but the json can be used in the attachment section of your send email.

    Thanks!

Please see below for one attachment:

Is this the best way, to add a delay before this file content?
