Add person to Customer data type table

Hi folks,

I have Employee column which is customer data type, how can i add by power apps employees from my organization because when im using patch i have an error

the type of this argument does not match the expected type 'Polymorphic'. Found type 'Text'.

(i want to use that like person table in SharePoint)?

Hi @Pablo96

'Customer' lookup field/column indeed is a polymorphic field which means you can use it to lookup for either Contacts or Accounts. The logic behind this is that a customer could be an individual (B2C) or an institution (B2B).

Depending on your needs, you could use 'Contact' table for individuals, 'Account' table for organisations or 'User' table of Dataverse for your company's internal employees/users.
