Need help creating a log (connecting Outlook and Excel)

Hello!

I would like to create a logfile for past events based on my Outlook-calendar. Example: I have a scheduled trainingsession today between 09:30-11:30, once it is over, I'd like to record it in an excel file, saving the date for the event, the subjectline, starttime and endtime. Is this possible and if so, how do I go about doing it? Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.

Best regards,

Dan Rozen

    Hi @Danrozen,

Currently, it is impossible to monitor whether the event has been over in Flow.

It may not be possible to update its information in an Excel table whenever an event has been over.

It is conceivable to use Get events-Filter Query action to first get all events whose End Time is less than the current time, and then update the relevant information to the Excel table.

However, this may update a lot of duplicate event information in the Excel table, we need to check whether the current event is already included in the Excel table.

So you may need to add another eventID field.

You could configure your Flow by referring to the screenshot below.

You could also use Recurrence as a trigger.

    Please take a try.

Thanks alot for the help - I am still new to Microsoft Flow and this took some trying to get it right. Now, it is fetching the event (the time is formatted really wierdly) and it keeps importing Events like you said it would. How do I go about stopping after it has grabbed a single event and how can I go about changing how the time is formatted?

Thanks again for the first parts, I really got to learn alot.
