Can't delete rules in PowerAPPS

Dear MS Team,

I tried to delete a rule and then Save or Save As. But when I reopen the file, It still there. All I can do is rename the rule and change rule law. In general, the rule delete button is useless. Could you guys support us on this?

Kind regards,

Khoa Ng.H.D.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I just added a rule in my app and I could delete it completely using clicking on the delete icon beside the rule name.

So would you please more detailed configuration about your rules so that I could try to reproduce your issue?

    Regards,

    Mona

    Hi there,

I think you should save the file and close it. Then, re-open it, remember to untick 'show rules for this control only'. You will see it still there.

Btw, I can saw on Youtube that you guys and many people have Content Tab. But mine is not. Please help me!

    Kind regards,

    Khoa Ng.H.D.

    Hi @Anonymous,

I still cannot reproduce your issue following your steps.

After you save and close the app, remember to click on Publish to publish the app to all users.

About the content tab, I also cannot find it in my app. Would you please take a screenshot of it? Also, the steps to make it show. I think it might be the old version PowerApps UI.

    Regards,

    Mona

I still got those rules, even I deleted it and save replace the old version or delete the old version. It still there. What ever, I don't mine it much, I just code on the other field instead.

This is still an issue easily replicable with these steps:

    1. Create a rule called "My Test Rule" on any card.
    2. Delete the rule.
    3. Uncheck the "Show rules for this control only" box.
    4. Rule still in list.
    5. Delete rule from list.
    6. Save
    7. Publish
    8. Go to SharePoint Online.
    9. Go back into PowerApps.
    10. Uncheck the "Show rules for this control only" box.
    11. Rule still in list.
    12. Delete rule.
    13. Try to create new rule with the same name.
    14. Error = "Duplicate name already exists."

This issue is NOT solved. Rules still remain after deleting.

Any further progress on this? Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I cant delete rules that I do not need anymore. I save, publish and reopen but they are still there. I've also been having problems where the app will not open. This happens when I add a new rule. Is there a solution to this?
