Pages Content Approval

Has anyone in the community updated the out of the box modern pages content approval flow so that folks in the site Owners do not have to use the approval process, while other folks submitting content would.   Or those folks that have access to approve pages, when creating their own content can bypass the whole flow approval mechanism.  The flow takes precious minutes out of those folks day when they are creating their own content, so was just wondering if there is a setting or update that we can make so they wont have to go through those extra steps.

Thanks!

    Hi @amycolemanrocks ,

Could you please explain more details about your requirement?

Do you want the site Owners don't need to have to send the content approval however other user need?

I afraid that your requirement couldn't be achieved since if the library is setted that need to send the content approval, everyone would need the approval when create a new file.

So the approval could only be setted for all use in the library, or if you don't want the approval, you could set the library don't need to approval.

    Best regards,

    Alice

Yes we would want site owners and/or content approvers to be able to by pass the approval steps.  Right now they enter their content and then have to run through a couple additional workflow steps before it is available to all users.   This is cumbersome when adding 15+ new items at once.

If those specific users could just hit the submit for approval, but the workflow recognize that they are one of the approvers, then it just bypass and move to published state, that would be amazing.
