Hi Everyone. Am new to Power Apps and I need help.

I have customized SharePoint list integrated to the power apps. Basically I have a created list from scratch and a lookup list .

1-I have a screen named Initial request. and I have on this list lookup column form another list. I did the dropdown function and the other field now populated when I chose the item from the lookup column. I have add a submit button to the list, but when submitting the form. the data doesn't appear on the SharePoint list?

Also,

2-How I can add button to the other field to edit and save the new records on the same field without adding new records?

I have a choice field with Multiple Status (New, pending, correction, waiting for approval, complete) Is there a function or a formula to show each status on different screen.

3- If I have a lookup Column and a Single line column. how I can multiply the column like( Unit Price is a lookup column from different list and the quantity from a single line) like (Unit price*Quantity)?

What is the best procedure on this app if I have a Visio work flow??

Thanks

@MOHD78 you can try connecting your submit button to power automate

    • Click on the button
    • Click on Action Tab; Click on Power Automate
    • Click on create new flow
    • From the templates option on Power Automate "Power Apps Button"
    • Choose Add an Item to SharePoint and send an email
    • Edit this Template
    • Delete all steps
    • Add New Step
    • Search for Power Apps and Click Power Apps (DO NOT choose the V2)
    • Add New Step
    • Search for SharePoint
    • Click SharePoint; Click on Create item
    • Choose the SharePoint Site
    • Choose the SharePoint List Name

You an now see your list Columns showing

    • In Each of the Columns require, Choose "Ask in Power Apps" from the dynamic content
    • Remember to re-name your flow for easy remembrance
    • Click Save

    Go back to Power Apps

You should see the flow appear

    • Click on the flow
    • Then complete the function in the Formula bar
    • Run Your App

In your Question 2, You can use the Patch Function to modify your records

In your Question 3, I think you should create a Column to hold that Arithmetic formula which can be found in the advanced setting of the column on SharePoint

I got successful test at the flow. but I have an error formula now in power apps button. On select:  LCSSFLOW.RUN

What is the Patch function on this example. Like each button needs to edit the records when click on it.

The Calculated (calculation based on other columns) from the list setting it doesn't work because I have a lookup column from another list.

@MOHD78 @Can you snap the error on PowerApps? Let’s do one at a time.

@A-Roosevelt I need a solution first the question above and after that I will think about the flow with button. Do you have know why when am editing it add new records instead of  updating the existing records? after submitting a new records I need to edit the form with different screen? because I have 5 editable screens not one.

    Thanks
