excel office-scripts not enabling for microsoft 365 personal W\ insider program

I want to start using office scripts for Excel. I don't have access to a microsoft 365 work or education account. I'm using a ms 365 personal account, so, I've joined the MS insider program according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/scripts/testing/platform-limits?tabs=home . I still can't seem to get office scripts enabled. The automate tab won't show in the web app or the excel desktop app, which is the very latest, "Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2502 Build 16.0.18526.20118) 64-bit ". Best I can tell I've got all requirements now. Any idea how to get it enabled? Thanks!

In the meantime can you also verify who you are logged in as at the time you are attempting this. I know you said you signed up which is awesome !! Welcome :-)
Just want to make sure its valid already and that you activated everything and are logged in with that account.

    Thanks!!

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for responding!  For some reason it seems like I have to reply to my post rather than to your reply...

The account used to post this question is not the one I'm inquiring about.  I don't want to put personal info here, but I can send to you direct.  When using excel on the web and desktop app I am signed in as the account that's joined the insider program.

    Hi Michael,

The thread only allows me to reply to my original question not to your post. So, I'm not sure if you've seen my last post/reply to you.

    Thanks,
    Matt
