PowerApps Crashes Using Filters

Hi,

I have a Gallery that can be filtered by two ComboBoxes ('cb_CreatedBy' and 'cb_Component') and two DatePicker (dp_FirstDate and dp_LastDate). Both ComboBoxes has also a 'show all' -result. All filters work correctly together until...

...while changing CB-filter values few times PowerApps finally crashes. Preview screen and objects stop showing but I can still see yellow triangles and select objects from Tree View. No error messages. That happens with both PowerApps studio and MobileApp. All I can do is to save the app and restart PowerApps Studio.

Anyone else seen similar and what can I do to fix this?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue as described above. I think this has something to do with the Power Apps release version. What I noticed is that if I revert to a previous version which was using Power Apps version 3.20102.16, the app works as expected. However, all Power Apps versions more recent than that with the exact same code will result in app crash / restart of the app in both the studio or mobile app.

It is also worth noting that I also do a Sort on the Gallery Items formula. If I remove the sort and only leave the filtering, the issue no longer appears - but we need the sort as well.

I've already seen multiple posts of people complaining about exact same issue. Waiting for a response and fix from Microsoft.

Thanks for the tip!
I commented SortByColumn lines off from the Gallery and the app hasn't crashed since that.
Bad thing is that sorting is necessary as we want to show recent actions (records) first.

Anyway, now it is known what causes crashing. Hopefully Microsoft acts soon to this error.

This issue was now acknowledged by Microsoft as a bug and they just issued a hotfix for it. If you edit your app and re-publish, the bug should be gone.
