Hi

Is there a way to disable/hide the 'Created by:' info in the approval mail distribution (start and wait for approval)? We cannot create a service account unfortunately.

Thank you

    @CH6

    There is no way to hide "Created By" in the email.

    Take a look at this post.

    In the post I mention, @Brad_Groux has suggested using an email alias.

    Hi @CH6 ,

    Unfortunately, we could not hide or remove created by from Approval email currently.

    You could try to fill the Requestor field so that Approver could know who the requestor is.

    If you want such a feature supported by Power Automate, please consider voting for the similar idea:

    Or you could use Send an email with options to create an approval request.

    Best Regards,

    currently I have this hidden by default in my approval emails

    I'll try to remember the steps I took to be able to hide this one

    EDIT:
    Just found out that this is now the default approvals. No tweaks needed.

    I have an approval flow that still shows the "Created by" field, did you remember how you had it hide by default?

    I just tested this yesterday. It might be related to building your flows before the microsoft changed it or youre using an old action . Try creating a new flow using "create an approval" and "wait for an approval" and you will see the created by field is now removed by default.

    Hi! I was able to fix it by deleting the "create and wait for approval" and using the two separate ones: "Create approval" and "wait for approval" items. Hope this helps!
