Dear all,
I am currently trying to update an existing (an working) flow but during saving I receive the following error message:
The template validation failed: 'The 'recurrence' property of template trigger 'Wenn_ein_Element_erstellt_wird' at line '1' and column '972' is not defined or not valid.'.
The sentence "Wenn ein Element erstellt wird" refers to the trigger for SharePoint to start the flow once a new element gets created.
I have no idea what I messed up or where I can find the column 972.
Thank you very much in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Markus
Bumping this @v-zhos-msft . I am having exactly the same issue.
Even the example templates given by MS fail to save with the same error as OP.
Hello @v-zhos-msft ,
thank you for your feedback!
Please find attached a screenshot of how I set up the flow.
So the trigger is set to start the flow once a new element gets added to a SharePoint list. Once this is done the flow checks if the new entry refers to a specific category. Depending on the result different Mails get sent.
However, the error message currently appears even If I use a template from MS.
I am quite new to MS Flow so please excuse if this is a quite obvious topic I don't understand.
Thank you for your support.
Markus
Hi @-Markus ,
Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?
Then I can do more analysis for you.
As the error message said, there is some issue about the 'recurrence' property from the trigger you have used.
The porperty is not defined or not valid.
