I log into Power Automate, I go to create new Flow, set Microsoft Forms as Trigger, and get a "sign in" button. I put in the same credentials in again and get this message:
Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '7ab78xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxx3983' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.
I have tried incognito mode, and everything else under the sun for 2 hours. I am literally logged into Microsoft Forms on the same computer in a different tab, but when I need to authenticate my credentials for it to connect from Power Automate, I get that above error. Please help!
Hey guys sorry I forgot I did not use forms. The work around I used was using Google forms and Google sheets. Oddly, you can’t connect to Microsoft forms or excel for personal (worked at my work account) but the Google beta connector allows you to do it. Please let me know if you have issues and I can clarify.
hi All
i figured it out for myself.
check out this video on YT. Curious to see if it works for you.
I am having this issue too. Is there a resolution yet?
My name is Carl,
I was wondering if support was able to solve you Power Automate / Forms log in issue?
I'm having that same issue.
Thanks,
Carl
Having the same issue - trying to connect forms to automate - I think it has to do with the fact Microsoft hasn’t created a connector between individual accounts for flow and automate… only for organizational accounts
alrez,
Thank you for your assistance. I'm not even sure what tenants are. Something is deeply wrong with my account. I have a Microsoft 365 Family account, but I have not shared with anyone yet. I can log into all the Office 365 products and have been regularly using those products for years. But authentication fails in Power Automate, even though I'm logged into that account for the Power Automate, and literally am logged into microsoft forms on same browser, different tab. I can't put in a support ticket from the link you provided me. Are support tickets only available for special subscriptions? How can I get a put in a ticket as a Microsoft 365 user?
The link you provided me with tells me to put in a ticket by logging in here:
Sign in to the Power Platform admin center with your admin credentials
However, when I try signing in there, it tells me "This username may be incorrect. Make sure you typed it correctly. Otherwise, contact your admin."
Hi,
Is any of this across multiple tenants? If not the error you are getting doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. This might be a better case to open with Microsoft support. I'll include some information on opening a ticket with them if that is the route you would like to go down.
If you would like to create a ticket with Microsoft Customer Support here is a link on how to do so: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/get-help-support
Regards,
Alex
