Trigger upload confirmation email

I have an existing flow connected to a One Drive folder with an upload only link. The user uses the link to upload a document. The flow saves the document into the specified folder, then sends the file to my email. The flow then deletes the file from the original folder.

The link is active for anyone to upload to. I'm getting a lot of feedback that the uploaders would like some kind of confirmation email back showing the file successfully uploaded. I've been through the flows and can't seem to locate one that would do this. The upload link also only asks them their name and not their email, so I'm not sure if there is a away to edit that as well. Another client uses Citrix ShareFile and it does something very similar to what I'm looking for.

    Dear MD,

It would seem to me that you could get the details of the uploaded files on OneDrive (List files in folder). This would included a field called 'LastModifiedBy' which should give you the name of the person who uploaded the file.

Further details to this name could be found by using the 'Get User' action ... afterwhich you can send this person an email.

    Hope the suggestion helps,

    Happy flowing,

Hi! Thank you for the suggestion but I get anywhere from 30-40 uploads per day so I'm trying to avoid having to manually email each one.

    Dear MD,

I assumed you would set the trigger for the flow based on 'upload of new file' on OneDrive, hence no manual actions needed.

    Happy flowing,

    Koen
