SharePoint list vs Excel

Hi  I would like to confirm if the following requirement can be realized and how to do that.

 

There is a share point list which has a lot of columns.

There is an existing Excel file which includes several same column as SharePoint but the order is different.

 

Requirement

When the item share point list is updated or newly created, we want to add the new one to the last row of Excel file and update the contents of Excel columns based on updated columns of sharepoint.

    Yes this is possible but why are you holding data in two places.  Surly one would be best that being the SP List.
